This website is being put together by two church-crawlers who regularly visit Staffordshire churches and church-yards. We are both members of the Staffordshire Historic Churches Trust.
It is a voluntary and unfunded labour of love!
Please take a little time to help. This website requires other enthusiasts from across the county to contribute information in order to complete it.
We’d ask you please to let us information about individual churches.
The easiest way to do this is to have a look at our Church details document, fill in what details you can, and email the results back to us.
You don’t have to be an expert. In fact, members of the local community may have more knowledge about many churches. Every little helps!
You do NOT have to sign up to anything, or become a ‘member’, to do this.
Also… we ask if you would like to contribute articles and opinion pieces about aspects of the county’s church heriatge (click here for our email).
(You’ll find this website’s previous articles on the county’s church heritage by clicking here.)
The best way to help preserve the county’s historic churches is to join the Staffordshire Historic Churches Trust, or donate to the trust.
Also, you can ‘follow’ the work of this site by clicking the ‘Get Updates From This Site’ grey button in the top-right of this page. If you do, you’ll get a email every so often from us.
